Switch Rehab is proud to welcome its first physiotherapist, marking an important milestone in expanding the company’s clinical services and strengthening support for clients across Melbourne’s northern suburbs.
With nearly 15 years of physiotherapy experience guiding the development of this service, Switch Rehab is enhancing its capability across a wide range of healthcare needs. A strong focus is placed on supporting neurological clients, including (but not limited to) those living with MS, Parkinson’s, stroke, spinal cord injury (SCI), and acquired brain injury (ABI). The service also supports elderly clients experiencing frailty, falls, dementia, arthritis, general deconditioning, and mobility challenges.
Switch Rehab provides a comprehensive suite of physiotherapy services, including falls prevention programs, home-based balance retraining, exercise programs, and education with equipment prescription. Additional services include telehealth consultations (including for rural clients), equipment trials such as standing frames, wheelchairs, and walking aids, postural support assessments for bed and chair positioning, NDIS access support and assessments, community-based strength and conditioning, vestibular rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, and preliminary paediatric support pending further review.
