Meet Tara

Occupational Therapist

Tara is a passionate Occupational Therapist who joined Switch Rehab to make a difference in her clients lives, while finding a healthy work/life balance and thriving clinically with the support of her team. Starting her career in community OT in January 2023, Tara has been passionate about working with the adult neurological population and continues to excel in this field.

Tara has a keen interest in all neurological and physical impairments, with a particular focus on stroke and spinal cord injury rehabilitation. Tara has a keen interest in writing FCA, SDA and SIL reports and regularly receives feedback about the comprehensiveness of these. She advocates for her clients at every step and is committed to making sure her clients feel heard and respected. She believes in a collaborative approach and working together with her clients to find the solutions that best fit their unique needs.

When Tara isn't working, she loves indulging in her creative side with embroidery art, playing video games such as Skyrim and The Witcher, and experiencing the thrill of live music. She also enjoys spending lazy days on the couch with her cats Reginald and Pixie, and also has a pet diamond python, Enya.

What matters most for Tara is brightening other people's days, making time for activities she loves, and ensuring she gets enough rest in between. She finds joy in life’s little things and brings that positivity into her work every day. Tara looks forward to working with you and helping you achieve your goals with a positive and effective approach!
